Shipping, Cancelation and Returns Policy
How do I know if my order is confirmed
You will receive an email and a sms on order confirmation. Please contact our helpdesk (therewaslight@saltnlight.in) if you are unsure. Considering how technology can sometimes act funny and in the rarest of case, if your payment has gone thru, and you do not receive a confirmation. Be rest assured, that the amount will be credited back into your account automatically by your card provider.
Do you charge for shipping?
We offer free shipping in India for all orders above Rs. 999. For orders below Rs. 999, a standard shipping charge of Rs. 65 will apply
When can I expect to receive my order?
- All orders usually gets shipped within 5-7 working days. So you can expect a delivery between 7-10 days.
- For orders containing customization, do expect a delivery between 12-17 days as these are made to order.

You will get a tracking link in your inbox as soon as your order is shipped. Please allow 24hrs for the status of the shipment to correctly display at the tracking link.
How do I place Bulk Orders?
We know you love our products as they are simply awesome and sometimes one is just not enough. You can place bulk orders by visiting our Bulk Orders/Customisation page or by contacting us via therewaslight@saltnlight.in
Can I have my order gift-wrapped?
Yes, you can! Gift wrap option is available for most products, and you will see this option during checkout. Please note that as per government mandate, we will have to send across the invoice with all shipments.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do! :) Shipping charges are dependent on weight and location. We don’t wish to overcharge you with a flat rate, hence please reach out to us on therewaslight@saltnlight.in to get a quote for the same.
Please note: Custom duties (if applicable) would have to be paid by you directly to the shipper at the time of delivery (which is not included in the shipping charge)
Do you have any exceptions to your shipping policy?
- In the event that the delivery address is not easily accessible, delivery time may be in excess of our estimate as aforesaid. For confirmation of delivery address, we may contact you on your email id or phone number provided by you.
- We only make use of reliable courier companies and/or Speed Post. Salt n Light is not liable for any delays in delivery by the Courier Company/ Speed Post or on account of any factors beyond our control. We shall endeavor to ensure timely delivery of your order within the estimated time as mentioned in the order confirmation.
- In the unlikely event that delivery is not possible for any reasons outside the control of Salt n Light, including but not limited to poor courier services in delivery area, inaccessibility of delivery area, force majeure events, we shall inform you of such inability to deliver and cancel your order, followed by full refund.
What happens if I am not available to receive my parcel?
- Should you not be present when our courier attempts to deliver your parcel, our courier partner will make an attempt to reach you via a phone call or SMS. Please ensure that you take calls from our courier partner to facilitate delivery of your package.
- A second attempt will automatically be made within 24 hours. After the second attempt, our courier will hold on to the parcel for a few days, awaiting further instructions from you, before returning the parcel to us.
- Once the parcel has been shipped back to us, we will automatically cancel that order. The payment made by you (excluding shipping charges) towards the cancelled order will be refunded via your original mode of payment.
What do I do if I don't like the product I received?
- We really don’t want to put up this section, coz we are sure you will love our product. But in the unlikely case that this may arise, we will be sad.. very sad! So, drop us a mail and you could just ship the product back to us to the address which will be given in the mail. But please note that the products purchased can be returned (unopened / unused without damage and with all the tags intact) within 7 days of receiving the order and please pack the items securely to prevent any loss or damage during transit.
- If the payment was by credit/ debit card or net-banking, the money will be refunded to your credit/ debit card or net-banking account, respectively. Typically, refunds are processed between 10- 15 working days. Please note that we depend on the credit card issuing bank to ensure that the money is refunded to your account. We only control the release of funds from our side. There is little we can do in case there is a delay from the bank’s end.
- Please make sure that the return product is packed well to avoid any damages in transit. The product should be returned in its original state for the refund / code to be processed.
- The courier charges incurred by you to send us back the product will not be refunded. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- No return / refund / exchange is possible for customised products unless it is damaged.
What is the process for cancelation?
- Why would you want to cancel such an awesome order? Again in the unlikely event that you change your mind, we have you covered.
- Please mail us at therewaslight@saltnlight.in for cancellation request if your order has not been shipped yet.
- Orders can be cancelled only if it has not been shipped from our warehouse.
- No cancellation applicable for customised products once the order is placed.
- Unfortunately, we cannot cancel orders once the shipment is out of our store for delivery.
- Once shipped, we will not consider cancellation requests.
- If a cancellation request comes up before the product leaves our order-processing centre, we will try to hold the shipment but there is no guarantee that the cancellation request will be honoured.
What is your process for refunds for the cancelled order?
- We will not charge you a cancelation fee
- If the payment was by credit/ debit card or net-banking, the money will be refunded to your credit/ debit card or net-banking account, respectively. Typically, refunds are processed between 7- 12 working days.
- Please note that we depend on your bank to ensure that the money is refunded to your account. We only control the release of funds from our side. There is little we can do in case there is a delay from the bank’s end.
